Geodynamics of convergence zones, markers and modelling

This programme includes three projects that take advantage of our know-how in terms of lithosphere dynamics : field expertise, geochrology, rock magnetism and numerical modelling. The convergence of lithospheric plates is addressed from the tectonic, sedimentary, metamorphic, magmatic and metallogenic points of view. Integration of the geological and geophysical data in GIS for 3D and 4D numerical modelling is one of the main axis of development.
